Becky Kay Hester Knight

LINCOLNTON, N.C.—Becky Kay Hester Knight, age 72, of Pell Drive in Lincolnton, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Auton officiating.
Mrs. Knight was born September 28, 1953, in Lincoln County, to the late Howard Lee Hester and Helen Gillian Hester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers James Gillian, Billy Hester, Jimmy Dean Hester, Roy Lee Hester, and Howard “Cisco” Hester. She worked in the textile industry.
Surviving are her husband, David Knight of the home; sons, Jimmy Franklin Knight of Stony Point, and William David Knight of Lincolnton; daughter, Sharon Roberts (Barry Holt) of Maiden; sisters, Patricia Hester of Maiden, and Coleen Ingle of Lincolnton; and grandchildren, Paul “Trey” Roberts, III (Ashtyn), Thomas Michael Knight, Ford David Knight, Lariah Shaye Knight, Jessica Rauzi, Heather Kay Knight, Madison Dianne Knight, Kimberly Dawn Patton, and Angiela Abrogena.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Knight family.
