ACC Tournament
For local teams, the high school basketball season ended on Saturday.  East Lincoln's girls and Lincoln Charter's boys both lost in the NCHSAA playoffs.  Both had great seasons.  Sunday, the Atlantic Coast Conference crowned its women's tournament champion and the men's tournament starts Tuesday.  We don't normally report on college basketball, but we're posting the men's schedule because many of our readers have expressed an interest.

The East Lincoln girls basketball team lost for the first time this season after winning 31 games--a new school record.  The Mustangs fell to West Rowan, also unbeaten, 48-42, in the NCHSAA 3A playoffs.  Lincoln Charter's boys also lost to unbeaten Reidsville 77-60 in the 2A playoffs.
