CONOVER, N.C. - Lester Allen Sigmon, 76, of Conover, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
He was born June 19, 1946 in Catawba County to the late Lester and Rolean Travis Sigmon. Lester was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover and retired from the furniture industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda Sigmon Garcia and Deborah Kay Sigmon.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years Priscilla Bandy Sigmon of the home; son Allen Sigmon of Conover; daughter Michelle Sigmon Montgomery and husband David of Claremont; grandchildren Kayla Sigmon, Jessica Montgomery, Alec Montgomery, and Jennifer Montgomery; and great-grandchildren August Montgomery and Rilah Montgomery.
A memorial service to celebrate Lester’s life will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 4 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover. Rev. Michael Geml will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-3:45 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church. The Sigmon family will also be available following the inurnment.
