Former Mustangs Star Has Great Freshman Season at Virginia Tech

While he was hitting home runs for the Mustangs, you just knew that Garrett Michel would be a college star.  This year, he's at Virginia Tech, and the first baseman/slugger has had a great freshman season.  He's just been named to the ACC's All-Freshmen team.

Michel batted .335 this season and had 11 home runs for the Hokies, including a grand slam in March vs VMI.
