Gaston College To Host Career Fair

DALLAS, N.C. – Gaston College will host over 70 businesses for a career fair at the Myers Center Auditorium on the Dallas campus on Wednesday, March 22 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The free event is open to all past and current Gaston College students and the community.

Those attending the career fair can expect to learn about full-time, part-time, seasonal and work-based learning job opportunities in a wide range of career fields. Several of the fields that will be represented include Health, Manufacturing, Criminal Justice, and Business. Gaston College's Work-Based Learning and Placement office has organized the event to help pair job seekers with businesses in the area. “Companies are hiring now, and this event gives those looking for work the opportunity to meet and interact with many local employers who want to find the right people to fill their open positions,” said Joy Morrow, Coordinator for Work-Based Learning and Placement.
