Advisory Issued After Foamy Material Seen in Creek, River
Lincoln and Gaston County authorities and the NC Dept. of Environmental Quality are investigating a foamy white material that was seen floating in Indian Creek and the South Fork River on Tuesday (June 6th).  Residents are advised to avoid contact with the water in Indian Creek and the South Fork south of Laboratory until the investigation is completed.

Signs may include physical injuries, poor living conditions or nutrition, unusual financial activity, unpaid bills, fraudulent signatures on financial documents, or emotional changes such as depression, isolation or anxiety.
