Chamber Holds Awards Banquet
The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet Thursday evening (Nov. 16th) at Laboratory Mill.
The evening included multiple awards including the Man & Woman of the Year awards presented by the Lincolnton Rotary Club and Business & Professional Women's Club. Also honored were the Small Business Person and Industry of the Year. Normand Lavasseur was presented the Man of the Year award by Rotary president Adam McCarrison. BPW president Erica Miller presented the Woman of the Year award to Sue Gauthier. Damon Lusk of Race City Steel was named the Small Business Person of the Year.

Ethan Herman, chair of the Chamber's Small Business Council, presented the Small Business Person of the Year award to Damon Lusk of Race City Steel The Industry of the Year award had already been announced at a Lincoln Economic Development Association (LEDA) industrial appreciation dinner held in October. This year's Industry of the Year is Husky Rack & Wire.

Robin Nicholson, Duke Energy District Mgr, presented a Citizenship award to Sherry Reinhardt of the Coalition Against Child Abuse Other awards presented Thursday night included the Duke Energy Citizenship Award to Sherry Reinhardt of the Coalition Against Child Abuse. Chamber awards were also presented included Member of the Year to Susan Dolan of Ivester Jackson-Christie's;
Volunteer of the Year to Robin Radovich of United Bank;
a Rising Star award to Kyle Land of Helen Adams Realty;
and a Milestone Member award to First Federal Savings Bank.
