Bandys established a 3-0 halftime lead, but the LHS team came to life in the second half and won the game  5-3 forcing a four-way tie for second place in the Catawba Valley Conference standings.  With the win, LHS is 2-1 in the league (4-3-3 overall); Bandys is also 2-1 as are Maiden and West Caldwell.  Newton-Conover, with a 3-0 conference mark, is on top in the standings.  The Red Devils beat East Burke 10-1 Monday.  West Caldwell handed Maiden their first conference loss, 5-0. 

West Lincoln managed only one goal in a 6-1 loss at Bunker Hill.  The Rebels are still looking for their first win as they visit Newton-Conover Wednesday.

Lincoln Charter won their 8th of the season (now 8-3 overall, 3-2 in the Catawba Shores Conference).  The Eagles beat Bradford Prep 3-0. They'll play at Christ the King on Wednesday.

North Lincoln lost a 3-1 double overtime game to North Iredell. The Knights are now 3-4-1 for the season.  East Lincoln lost to West Iredell 3-0. Fred T. Foard beat Statesville 1-0.  

Cherryville lost at Piedmont Community Charter 9-0.
