MAIDEN, N.C. - Rodney Dale Isenhower, 55, of Maiden, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
He was born August 4, 1968 in Lincoln County to the late Rayford Isenhower and to Kathryn Sigmon Isenhower of Maiden. Rodney was of the Baptist faith and a graduate of Bandys High School. He was employed as a mechanic with Lake Electric and enjoyed working on cars.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Woodrow and Evalyna Isenhower; maternal grandparents, Marshall “Bud” and Ella Sigmon; and adopted daughter, Elizabeth Isenhower.
Those left to cherish his memory is his mother Kathryn Sigmon Isenhower of Maiden; brother Jerry Wayne Isenhower of Maiden; and girlfriend Mary Linda Christopher of Conover.
A memorial service to celebrate Rodney’s life will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton. Rev. Zachariah Franklin will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Mays Chapel United Methodist Church in Maiden. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service.
