The North Lincoln girls tennis team is now 8-1 for the season after a 9-0 win over Fred T. Foard on Monday (Sept. 25th).

Rachel Fink beat her opponent in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.  Other singles winners were Emma Carver, Natalie Gore, Lulu King, Freya Gustus, and Ella Wulfhorst.  Gore & King, Fink & Wulfhorst, Gustus & Mia Lang, Emme Johnson & Jessica Fedo, Emily Harris & Tiffany Scronce, and Lucy Thompson & Addison Phuntek all won in doubles.

North will play at West Iredell Wednesday (Sept. 27th) and will complete a suspended match from Aug. 30th with Lincoln Charter on Thursday.   

Lincoln Charter is now 12-0 for the season.  They play at Lincolnton Wednesday.  After finishing that suspended match with North Lincoln Thursday, they'll host Pine Lake Prep on Friday.  

The East Lincoln girls won their 4th WFAC match without a loss on Monday, 7-2 over St. Stephens.  They are now 10-3 overall.  Singles winners were Karsyn Sink, Molly McGuirk, Sophie Meyers, Maddie Wilkens, and Gianna LaStella.  In doubles, Sink & McGuirk, Wilkens & LaStella were winners.  East will play at North Iredell Wednesday.

Fred T. Foard will host Hickory Wednesday.  

West Lincoln beat Newton-Conover 7-2 Tuesday.  Addison Wright, Laura Willis, Jada Willis, Kennedy McCumber and Hallie Black won in singles; in doubles, Wright & Black and Laura Willis & McCumber were winners.  

Maiden downed Bandys 7-2 Wednesday.  Maiden will play at Bunker Hill Thursday.  Bandys will host Newton-Conover Thursday.

Cherryville lost to Shelby on Monday and Highland Tech Tuesday, both by 9-0 scores.  They play at Thomas Jefferson Thursday.
