Cherryville Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks, Wednesday, July 3, 6-10 p.m.: Food, Fun and Fireworks at the Independence Day Celebration at Rudisill Stadium, East 1st Street, Cherryville, NC.  Music with The Swingin Medallions with DJ Johnny B. Fireworks Display at 10 p.m.  (time subject to change due to weather) – Fireworks fallout possible in all viewing areas.

JULY 4

Crouse Independence Day Parade, Thursday, July 4, 1-4:30 p.m.: The annual Crouse Independence Day Parade is coming up at 3:30 p.m. on July 4, rain or shine. Hosted by the Crouse Fire Department, the parade has been a community fixture for more than 30 years now. Come early and hang out at the Crouse Fire Department and play free kids’ games and enjoy the bounce house and dunk tank. The Fire Department will also have bologna sandwiches for sale from 1-4:30 p.m. Spectators are welcome. Parade entries will begin lining up around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of the Crouse School and Swanson roads: GPS address 3580 Crouse School Road in Crouse. If you’re looking for good, old-fashioned family fun, we think you’ll find nothing better than visiting downtown Crouse for the Fourth of July parade.  Questions? Lincolnton Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks, Thursday, July 4, 6:30-10 p.m.: The celebration starts at 6:30 p.m. when the streets will close for spectators and vendors. Lincolnton Fire Department will have the spray zone on East Main at Academy. Parade line-up begins at 7 p.m. at Court Square and East Water Street. Parade will roll at 8:30 p.m. from Cedar Street to North Aspen and will end at Skip Lawing Drive at Lincolnton High School. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. NO VIEWING FROM LHS STADIUM. Fireworks Show will launch from CITY PARK. NO Pedestrians are allowed in City Park or North Aspen between Woodmont and Deaton. North Aspen from Dixon to Flint will be closed to traffic. Great Viewing Locations include: LHS Student Parking Lots, Aspen Street Sports Fields, First Federal Park at Sycamore and Poplar, Along North General’s Blvd. Near North Aspen, Tractor Supply Parking Lot, North side neighborhoods including North Laurel, Poplar and Cedar. NOTE: LPD officers will be stationed along the closure route to assist any residents requiring access during the closure. There is NO Detour Route. Everyone is invited to join in the fun!

Gastonia Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks, Thursday, July 4, 5-9:30 p.m.: Come out to downtown Gastonia on Thursday, July 4 at the Rotary Pavilion, 111 N. South St., Gastonia, NC 28054! There will be food trucks, a beer garden, vendors, entertainment, a free KidsZone and fireworks will begin around 9:30 p.m. There will be live music from 5-9:30 p.m. A local musician will play from 5-6 p.m., and the Black and Blue Experience will play throughout the remainder of the event. Red, White & Belmont, Thursday, July 4, 6-10 p.m.: Get ready to paint the town with patriotic hues! Join us for an evening filled with star-spangled excitement as the night kicks off with a sizzling concert. As the sun sets, our spectacular fireworks show will begin. Bring friends and family to the Upper Field of Stowe Park, 24 S. Main St., Belmont, NC. Even is FREE to attend, bring your lawn chairs or blankets.

Revolutionary Fourth in Kings Mountain, Thursday, July 4, 6 p.m. until: The evening will consist of music, fun activities, food vendors, a special reenactment of the Battle of Kings Mountain by the cast of Liberty Mountain, dance troops, pre=recorded music, a parade around the walking track with the Loch Norman Pipe Band, Children’s activities (inflatable bounce houses, face painting, balloon artist), food vendors, and at dark one of th3e largest fireworks shows between Asheville and Charlotte. The fun starts at 6 p.m. at the Deal Park Walking Track, at 211 North Cleveland Avenue, Kings Mountain, NC.

Town of Dallas Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks, Thursday, July 4, 5-10 p.m.: Dallas Parks and Recreation presents the annual July 4 Fireworks Celebration featuring the Ben Gatlin Band with The GIFTT as opener at Cloninger Park in Dallas, NC. Food Trucks will be available. Fireworks are scheduled to begin a little after 9 p.m.

Town of Stanley Fireworks, Thursday, July 4, 9:30-10 p.m.: Fireworks will be at Harper Park, 301 Blacksnake Rd., Stanley, NC 28164 from 9:30-10 p.m.
