Amy Michelle Hughes
December 20, 1981 – September 22, 2024
VALE, N.C. - Amy Michelle Hughes, 42 of Vale passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Born in Lincoln County on December 20, 1981, she was the daughter of the late Chevious "Chip" Frances Hughes and Maybelle Bolick Hughes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Dean Hughes, Kelly Hughes, Bruce Hughes and Randy Hughes.
Survivors include her son, Liam Canipe of Conover; three sisters, Connie Parker of Vale, Rebecca Craig of Connelly Springs and Brittney Whitesides of Vale; and a brother, B.J. Craig of Vale; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Workman officiating.
The burial followed the service in the North Brook Baptist Church Cemetery.
