DENVER, N.C. - Brenda “Beautiful Brenda” Trivette Hunter, age 78, of Denver passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at East Lincoln Missionary Baptist Church, 4769 Highway 73, Iron Station, NC 28080, with Rev. Edward Reese officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at East Lincoln Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hunter was born on March 24, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Culbie and Novella Simerly Trivette.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lynard Edward Hunter; her brother, Ronnie Trivette; and two sisters, Ruthie Trivette and Kathy Oliver.  Mrs. Hunter was a retired school teacher.

She is survived by two sons, Ricky Lynn Hunter and wife Janet of Lincolnton and Lynard Edward Hunter II of Denver; two grandchildren, Alycia Hunter and Adam Hunter and wife Holly; four great-grandchildren, Gideon Hunter, Tobias Hunter, Caspian Hunter and Ivory Hunter.
