LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Chad Lee Smith, age 51, of Carriage Lane in Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

A celebration of Chad’s life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Lincolnton Church of God with Pastor Donnie Wise officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church. 

Chad was born February 11, 1973, to the late Danny Ray Smith and Dorothy “Jerri” Simmons Smith.  He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Profile Products.  He loved traveling, camping, and his many friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Natalie Steelman Smith of the home; sons, Seth T. Smith, Breyden Beddingfield, and Bryce Beddingfield, all of Lincolnton; two daughters, Megan S. Hallman and Brooke Beddingfield, both of Lincolnton; two sisters, Bunny S. Ingle (Mark) of Lincolnton and Natalie S. Wise (Donnie) of Mooresville, and Brad Smith of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Eli Hallman and Lincoln Hallman; and loving nieces and nephews.
