Charles “Chuck” August Rauschek
May 31, 1937 – August 30, 2024
HICKORY, N.C. - Charles “Chuck” August Rauschek, 87, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at his residence.
He was born May 31, 1937 in Decatur, Ill. to the late August and Edith Martha Rauschek. Chuck was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Conover and a retired Missouri Synod Lutheran pastor. He was an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Rauschek.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years Phyllis Raushek; daughters Deborah and Laura; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Chuck’s life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Conover on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert Stevens will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
