Charles Monroe Price
April 9, 1938 - September 30, 2024
LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Charles Monroe Price, age 86, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Goudelock officiating. The family received friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Price was born April 9, 1938, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Charles William Price and Rosalee Kimble Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy, Joyce, and Margie. Charles served in the United States Air Force and later worked in textiles.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Gantt Price of the home; three sons, William “Bill” Price (Vicky Williams Price) of Lincolnton, Lyle Price (Erica) of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Rex Price (Gail) of the home; daughter, Lynn Armstrong (Henry) of Lincolnton; twelve grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Price family.
