Charles Montgomery Fitzgerald
Charles Montgomery Fitzgerald, age 68, of Grange Road in Maiden, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025.
The family will receive friends starting at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Warlick Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life service starting at 4:00 p.m.
Charles was born June 4, 1956, in Lincoln County, to the late Dr. John H. Fitzgerald, Jr. and Anne Hollingsworth Fitzgerald. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John H. Fitzgerald, III. He worked as a floor installer.
He is survived by a son, Zachary Fitzgerald (Caiti) of Apex, NC; significant other, Nancy Martin of the home; sisters, Anne Marie Godfrey and Elizabeth Stowe (Barry); brothers, James Fitzgerald (Cindy), Fred Fitzgerald (Cheryl), and Nestor Fitzgerald (Lynn); granddaughter, Eliza Fitzgerald; stepdaughter, Barbi Dellinger (Nick); and two step-grandchildren, Easton Dellinger and Cooper Dellinger.
Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Fitzgerald family.
