Bethel Baptist Gospel Music Jam, Friday, July 26: Join us at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 for our monthly Gospel Music Jam on the fourth Friday of each month at 6 p.m. Come play, sing, fellowship, and eat a meal with us. Boger City UMC Friends & Family Day, Sunday, July 28: On Sunday, July 28, Boger City United Methodist Church, located at 2320 East Main Street, in Lincolnton, will be celebrating their Friends and Family Day. Sunday School will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Worship Service will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Following worship service, light refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome! Rhyne Heights Methodist VBS, Saturday, August 3: Please join us for a fun filled “On The Case” Vacation Bible School at Rhyne Heights Methodist Church on Saturday, August 3 from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Drop-Off with Check-In and Breakfast will be from 9-9:30 a.m.; Lunch served from 12-1 p.m. and Pick-Up will be at 2:30 p.m. We will have an inflatable water slide at the end of VBS. Parents are welcome to stay, but for those who left please come back early at 1:30 p.m. to watch all the fun!  Kids should bring with them a bottle of water, a Bible, secure shoes (avoid sandals and slippers), hats and sunblock lotion (for outdoor play), and a change of clothes. WHAT NOT TO BRING: food (unless for health reasons), water toys, skateboards (or anything that has wheels), cell phones, handheld gaming devices (and other electronics), or anything that resembles a weapon.
