ON-GOING EVENTS
BCUMC Pumpkin Patch Now - October 31: Pumpkins at Boger City United Methodist Church, 2320 E. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092. Hours will be 12 noon until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit church missions and hurricane relief. Also local honey will be sold with a percentage donated back to the church from the Bridges family. Pumpkins in all shapes, and sizes from baseball size to monsters taking two people to carry plus colorful gourds of every shape, and size are available for sale in different price ranges. An assortment of mini-pumpkins will be available for sale and make great addition for teachers implementing classroom activities. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to bring their cameras for scenic photograph opportunities of your children and grandchildren amongst a “sea” of orange pumpkins. Warm Coats Warm Souls Collection by 2 Shirts Ministry, Now-November 1: 2 Shirts Ministry is holding its Warm Coats Warm Souls event through November 1st, collecting new and gently used coats, hats, gloves, and warm clothing for children, families, and the homeless in the Lincolnton area. Donations are needed in both children's and adult sizes. Local drop-off locations are being arranged, but pickups and convenient drop-off times can be coordinated. For those unable to donate clothing, you can support the cause by purchasing items through our online registry or by making a financial contribution. For more details, visit 2shirts.org.

Bethel Baptist Gospel Music Jam, Friday, October 25: Join us at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 for our monthly Gospel Music Jam on the fourth Friday of each month at 6 p.m. Come play, sing, fellowship, and eat a meal with us. We would love to have you!
First Assembly Jeff Little Trio Concert, Friday, October 25: The place to be that Friday evening at 7:30 is the First Assembly Church, located at 777 S. Myrtle School Road in Gastonia. Little is an award-winning musician from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. In 2014, he was inducted into the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame. Little is joined by Steve Lewis on the acoustic guitar, banjo and vocals and Luke Little on the mandolin. Tickets are $30 each. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show follows half an hour later. Crowell Memorial Methodist Trunk-Or-Treat/Fall Festival, Saturday, October 26: Come have fun with us at our Trunk-Or-Treat/Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26 at 4 p.m. Hot dogs will be served. The church is located at 4018 Killian Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Rosehill Baptist Fall Festival/Truck-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 26: A free Fall Festival with Trunk-or-Treat will be held at Rosehill Baptist Church, 1172 Rosehill Dr., Lincolnton, NC 28092 on Saturday, October 26 from 5-7 p.m. A free yard sale will also be held in the fellowship hall.
Lincolnton Drive-Thru Halloween Trick-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 26: The City of Lincolnton Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the ReMax Crossroads, Lincoln County Library, First United Methodist Church, and Emmanuel Lutheran Church will host a drive-thru Halloween Trick-or-Treat event in downtown Lincolnton on Saturday, October 26th from 5-7 p.m. or until supplies last. The drive-thru event will be a circuit that will include stops at the First Federal Park, First United Methodist Church, and Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Each stop will have Halloween treats such as candy and prizes to give out to children 12 and under. Participants must be in a car to receive candy or toy. Crouse UMC Trunk-Or-Treat, Sunday, October 27: Come join us for Trunk-or-Treat on Sunday, October 27 from 4-6 p.m. at Crouse United Methodist Church, 3311 Crouse School Rd., Crouse, NC 28033. We will have free hotdogs, baked goods, games and more! Wear your Best Costume and come have fun!
