Bethel Baptist Community Breakfast, Saturday, September 7: Join us at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 for our Community Breakfast (1st Saturday of every month 7 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.). We will be serving all of your country favorites, along with something sweet and a breakfast casserole! Donations only.

Grace Baptist Homecoming, Sunday, September 8: Everyone is welcome to our Homecoming on Sunday, September 8. Preaching at 10 a.m. with Bobby Jones and Singing at 11 a.m. with Parables of Christ. A lunch will follow. Grace Baptist is located at 495 Horseshoe Lake Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Church of Our Saviour Woodside 143rd Annual Homecoming, Sunday, September 8: Join us at 11:30 a.m. for our annual Homecoming led by Rev. Eizabeth Tester. Everyone is invited to join us in the parish hall for a covered dish lunch following the service. After lunch, there will be a special singing performance. McKendree Methodist – Auton Family Reunion, Sunday, September 8: The 2024 Auton Family Reunion will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 8 at McKendree Methodist Church, 3527 Maiden Hwy., Lincolnton, NC 28092. Ivey Memorial MC Mission Supper, Tuesday, September 10: Ivey Memorial Methodist Church will host a Second Tuesday Fund Raiser for the medical needs of Joe Franz on Tuesday, September 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the church located at 1360 Ivey Church Rd., Maiden, NC. First UMC Blood Drive, Wednesday, September 11: First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive in the fellowship building from 2:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11. Register at redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins will be welcomed. The Red Cross will collect single units and Power Reds and encourages African Americans to donate as the need to treat Sickle Cell Disease is needed.

Antioch Baptist Fall Yard Sale/Fundraiser, September 13-14 and 20-21: A Fall Yard Sale/Fundraiser will be hosted by the Nourishing Hands Food Pantry of Antioch Baptist Church, 3413 E. Hwy. 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on September 13-14 and 20-21. Baked goods will be sold daily. Hot dogs will only be sold on Saturdays. The event will be held rain or shine.

Bethel Baptist Scouts Meatloaf Fundraiser, September 13-14: On Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14 from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Troop 72 and Pack 72  of Bethel Baptist Church will host a Meatloaf Fundraiser. Plates are $12 and it includes meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, roll, and a dessert. Free delivery is available for large orders. Funds raised will help pay for registrations for the upcoming year. Denver UMC – Junior Fire Fighters Fundraiser, Saturday, September 14: The Denver Junior Fire Fighters will be having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to support their program. The event will be held at Denver United Methodist Church, 3910 North Highway 16 Denver, NC 28037 (adjacent to Denver Fire Department Headquarters) on Saturday, September 14 from 4-6 p.m. Cost is $10 per plate and will include spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, drink and dessert. Eat-in or Drive-thru service will be available behind the church. A 50/50 raffle will also be held. All proceeds go to the junior program.

Daniels Lutheran Fellowship Sunday, September 15: Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will celebrate its 250^th Anniversary on Sunday, September 15. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. with worship to follow at 10:30 a.m. with Bishop Tim Smith preaching the sermon.
