Dalton Benjamin Franklin
Dalton Benjamin Franklin, Sr., 28, of Morganton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 24, 2025 at his residence.
He was born June 8, 1996 in Catawba County to Teresa Franklin Starnes of Conover. Dalton was employed with AVEX in Granite Falls and enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and grilling out with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Diane; grandma, Lou; grandpa, Jim; grandpa, Hobert; grandpa, Johnny; and memaw, Jean Pope.

Father-In-Law: Danny Herman of Conover
Second Mother: Jennifer Stafford of Conover
Sister: Meagan Goins of High Point
Grandmother: Brenda O’Neal Hoglen
Mother of his oldest daughter and best friend for 16 years: Tessa Stafford
Special Friends: Joshua Fagan, Keith Krause, Christopher Chambers, Benjamin Christlieb, Michael A., Evan Brown, and Zack King who were life brothers. Followed by all his other friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Dalton’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the residence of Jenn Stafford, 4905 Swinging Bridge Rd., Conover, NC 28613.
