Dennis Wayne Canipe
September 30, 1954 - August 31, 2024
LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Dennis Wayne Canipe, age 69, of Smith Farm Road in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 at South River Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Chapman and Rev. Nathan Grooms officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Canipe was born September 30, 1954 in Lincoln County to the late George and Ola Mae Ridley Canipe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Beard Canipe; two sisters, Cheryl and Andrea; and one brother Nicholas. Mr. Canipe was retired from Timken.
Mr. Canipe is survived by two daughters, Allison Danner of Lincolnton, Lindsey Branch and Craig of Gastonia; one son, Bradley Canipe and Lauren of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Taylor Canipe, Corbin Jervis, Carson Jervis, Zoey Canipe and Cameron Jervis; sister-in-law, Kathy Canipe of Magnolia.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Canipe family.
