Detectives Investigating Double Homicide, Serious Injury To A Third Person

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a double homicide and the serious injury to a third person.
The incident occurred overnight at 715 Springs East Road. Two people were found deceased inside the residence. A third person is on life support at Caromont-Gaston.
Officers have taken a person of interest in custody. The identification of the victims has not been released.
