Edward Gene Hester Sr.
July 7, 1957 - October 13, 2024
LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Edward Gene Hester, age 67, of Rosehill Drive in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2024, in the Roseland Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Teague officiating.
Edward was born July 7, 1957, in New Jersey, to the late Lloyd and Shirley Beatty Hester. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheyanne; and siblings, Sharon Leonhardt, Terry Hester, and Richard Hester. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Spencer Hester of the home; seven children, Edward Gene Hester Jr. of Michigan, Nicholas Hester and Dylan Hester both of Lincolnton, Jada Hester of Mississippi, Chandler Hester of Newton, and Austin Hester and Logan Hester both of Lincolnton; and three brothers, John Hester of Hickory, Tommy Hester of Iron Station, and Marty Hester of Columbia, S.C.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Hester family.
