Ethel Marie Baldwin Hoistad
Ethel Marie Baldwin Hoistad, age 90, of Stanley passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Her funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Lincolnton with Pastor Elizabeth Tester officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Hoistad was born September 14, 1934, in Bismarck, North Dakota, and was the daughter of the late Arlo and Phyllis Steele Baldwin.
She is survived by her three sons, Steven Hoistad, Mark Hoistad and Robert Hoistad; two daughters, Laura Strauss and Beth Washle; seven grandchildren, Jillian Hoistad, Erick Hoistad, Jason Hoistad, David Hoistad, Len Strauss, Kiersten Washle, and Ean Washle; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 315 N. Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Hoistad family.
