Things to do for Halloween
Several places to visit in Lincolnton, Cherryville, Crouse and Denver for a safe Halloween this season. Fun for the whole family.
Crowell Memorial Methodist Trunk-Or-Treat/Fall Festival, Saturday, October 26: Come have fun with us at our Trunk-Or-Treat/Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26 at 4 p.m. Hot dogs will be served. The church is located at 4018 Killian Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Rosehill Baptist Fall Festival/Truck-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 26: A free Fall Festival with Trunk-or-Treat will be held at Rosehill Baptist Church, 1172 Rosehill Dr., Lincolnton, NC 28092 on Saturday, October 26 from 5-7 p.m. A free yard sale will also be held in the fellowship hall.
Lincolnton Drive-Thru Halloween Trick-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 26: The City of Lincolnton Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the ReMax Crossroads, Lincoln County Library, First United Methodist Church, and Emmanuel Lutheran Church will host a drive-thru Halloween Trick-or-Treat event in downtown Lincolnton on Saturday, October 26th from 5-7 p.m. or until supplies last. The drive-thru event will be a circuit that will include stops at the First Federal Park, First United Methodist Church, and Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Each stop will have Halloween treats such as candy and prizes to give out to children 12 and under. Participants must be in a car to receive candy or toy. Grounded Coffeehouse 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat, Saturday, October 26: Join us for our 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat at Grounded Coffeehouse, 2657 E. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092 beginning at 6 p.m. Bring your kids out for a fun and safe night of trick-or-treating they'll never forget. We're calling all car enthusiasts and community members to set up and hand out candy, making this night magical for all our little trick-or-treaters. This year, we're excited to announce that Needless Toys and Collectibles will be collaborating with us, which means more candy and a bigger turnout! Don’t miss out on this spook-tacular event—let's make it the best one yet!
Boogers & Bingo, Saturday, October 26: The Lincoln Cultural Center’s 3rd Annual Boogers & Bingo will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.) in the James W. Warren Citizens Center, 115 W. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092. Frightfully FUN for the Whole Family. Dress as your favorite fright night Booger and play Bingo for Big Prizes! Trunk-Or-Treat at Tractor Supply, Saturday, October 26: All old cars are welcome to Trunk-or-Treat on October 26 from 5-9 p.m. in the parking lot of Tractor Supply, 401 N. Generals Blvd., Lincolnton, NC 28092. All Welcome - Free Admission, food truck, vendors, prizes and more.
Crouse UMC Trunk-Or-Treat, Sunday, October 27: Come join us for Trunk-or-Treat on Sunday, October 27 from 4-6 p.m. at Crouse United Methodist Church, 3311 Crouse School Rd., Crouse, NC 28033. We will have free hotdogs, baked goods, games and more! Wear your Best Costume and come have fun!
Lincoln Family Trunk-Or-Treat, Monday, October 28: Please join us for a night of fun and games on Monday, October 28 from 6-8 p.m. in the Lincoln Family Back Parking Lot at 447 McCalister Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Carolina Care HR Trunk-Or-Treat, Tuesday, October 29: Don’t forget to wear your costume and come on out for Trunk-or-Treat at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation n Tuesday, October 29 from 5-7 p.m. Free Pelicans Snoballs and lots of fun! Victory Baptist Fall Festival, Wednesday, October 30: Make plans to join us on Wednesday, October 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for our Fall Festival. Kings Mountain Great Pumpkin Halloween Parade, Thursday, October 31: The City of Kings Mountain will host its annual “Great Pumpkin Halloween Parade” on Thursday, October 31. Children Newborn-7, along with their parents are invited to gather at Cherokee Street Parking at 9:30 a.m. to line up for this spectacular spooky parade. At 10 a.m. the foot parade, will travel to the Gazeboo at Patriots Park for a howling good time. Entertainment, games, Halloween stories, songs, sing-alongs and fun for all. Businesses will give away candy and treats. Afterwards stay and play, have a picnic lunch, take photos with the Peanuts gang in Linus’ pumpkin patch. The parade will start at Cherokee Street parking and continue to Mountain Street, across Battleground, then left on South Railroad Avenue. The parade will end at Patriots Park. Anthony Grove Baptist, Hallow-Him Trunk-R-Treat, Thursday, October 31: Games, rides, popcorn, cotton candy, food trucks and more at the Hallow-Him Trunk-r-Treat at Anthony Grove Baptist Church on Thursday, October 31 in the church parking lot. Rides open at 5:30 p.m. and Trunk-r-Treating at 6:30 p.m. Food must be purchased from vendors.

Somerset Court Halloween Porch Treats, Thursday, October 31: Come by Somerset Court of Cherryville and visit with our residents on the front porch as they pass out Halloween Treats on Thursday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. The Assisted Living is located at 401 W. Academy St., Cherryville, NC 28021.
Crouse Fire Department Trick-Or-Treat Fun, Saturday, October 31: Come out and join in the Fun on Halloween Night. Candy will be given out in front of the “Haunted House” (no admittance) next door to the fire station from 5-9 p.m. The street will be closed off for those who want to set-up for Trunk or Treat or to listen to the music. Plus, at the fire department they will be selling their famous Bar-B-Que Bologna Sandwich for $5. Crouse Fire Department is located at West Old NC 150 Hwy, Crouse, NC 28033.
