Frederick Childs Weisiger
June 30, 1946 - September 1, 2024
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Frederick Childs Weisiger, age 78, of Stacy Blvd. in Charlotte, died on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Brittain officiating. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service.
Mr. Weisiger was born June 30, 1946, in Mecklenburg County, to the late John W. Weisiger and Frances Wood Weisiger. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and later worked in construction as a carpenter.
He is survived by a brother, John Weisiger, Jr. (Anne) of Suwanee, Ga.; niece, Lorrie Stovall; nephew, Allen Weisiger; and special friend, Danny Hudson.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Weisiger family.
