Gretchen Loretta Robinson

TROUTMAN, N.C.—Gretchen Loretta Robinson, age 83, of Scotch Irish Lane in Troutman, died on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hardin with Rev. Dr. John H. Spencer officiating.
Miss Robinson was born August 13, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late William F. Robinson Sr. and Sudie Mae Friday Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Jill Robinson, and brothers Frank Robinson, John Robinson, and Steve Robinson. She graduated from Winthrop University in 1965 and worker as a news producer.
She is survived by a sister, Sarah Vinson of the home; niece, Jennifer Peeler of the home; great-niece, Shelby Powell of the home; nephew, Todd Vinson of Eagan, Minn.; great-nephews, Eddie Vinson and Alex Vinson, both of Eagan, Minn.; and special friend and helper, Johnie Cager Ray Jr. of Vale.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Robinson family.
