LOWESVILLE––Cherryville-based gospel favorites Heart 2 Heart will perform a free concert on Saturday, July 27, at 5 p.m.
The Vineyard Church of Lowesville is the place to be, according to noted gospel singer and concert co-ordinator Carroll Cooke. And although the concert is free, as Cooke recently noted, a free-will offering will be taken up.
Comprised of David and Deana Kiser, their longtime friend, Rhonda House, and now, as of not quite a year ago, newest members Riley and Ashleigh Dotson, Heart 2 Heart is very big on the gospel music circuit. This group has garnered much attention and earned many accolades since its original formation back in 1998.
Nominated for multiple awards, according to the Singing News gospel music magazine, Heart 2 Heart has performed across America and on Caribbean cruises. Its latest album, Amen, is available now.
Ten years ago, the group was selected as the National Quartet Convention Regional Artist Showcase winner. For the past seven consecutive years, Heart 2 Heart has performed on the convention’s main stage. In 2021, H2H was nominated as the Favorite New Artist of the Year by the Singing News Fan Awards.
The Vineyard Church is located at 1062 NC-16 South in Lowesville.
