MAIDEN, N.C. - Jeanette “Jeanne” Ballard Huffman, age 92, of Maiden passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at The Greens of Lincolnton.

She was born January 12, 1932 in Marion County, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Hensley Ballard. She was a member of Living Word Church in Maiden where she served in various ministries over her lifetime. Jeanne loved the Lord, her family and her church, she will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, husband, Talmadge “Lindy” Lindbergh Huffman; four brothers; and a sister preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her on Talmadge “Jeff” Jeffery Huffman and wife Lisa of Newton; two daughters LaDonna Withers of Maiden, Claudia Wright and husband Allen of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother Ronald Ballard of Texas.

The funeral service was held Monday, August 26, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Living Word Church in Maiden with Pastor Dr. Brad Davis officiating.

Burial followed in the Maiden City Cemetery.

The family received friends prior to the service from 2-2:45 p.m. at the church.
