Juanita Mask Aiken
March 18, 1943 – August 14, 2024
NEWTON, N.C. - Juanita Mask Aiken, 81, of Newton, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at her residence.
She was born March 18, 1943 in Caldwell County to the late Wibrun Benfield and Ruby May Mask Hoover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Billy Leon Aiken; brother, Kenny Ray Rathbone; and sister, Patsy Lemons.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Dale Ray Lail of Newton, Bradley Leon Aiken and wife Sharon of Newton, Darren Ray Lail; brother Ray Hoover; sisters Jackie Shook, Diane Beaty; grandchildren Morgan and Cody Lail; and fur baby Lady.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Juanita’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 4-5 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba County Animal Services, 201 Government Services Dr., Newton, NC 28658
