IRON STATION, N.C. - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kristine Keir Davis, known lovingly as Kristi, on July 12, 2025, at the age of 47.

A vibrant spirit with an enormous heart, Kristi was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who brought light and love to everyone she encountered.

Born on April 18, 1978, Kristi grew up surrounded by family who loved her. She would go on to build a beautiful life rooted in love, faith, and compassion. She is survived by her husband Tony Davis, and her three daughters, whom she cherished above all else: Skylar Patton (and husband Coy), Torie Taylor, and Peyton Taylor. Kristi also held a special bond with her stepdaughter Daytona Foster (and husband). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Saoirse and Forrest Patton, and step-grandchildren Ivy, Iris, Olive, and Rowan Foster.

She was the treasured daughter of Wanda and Mike Simons and Carl and Debbie Stowers. A beloved sister to Jackie Stowers, Justin Stowers, and Brittney Shelton. Kristi also held deep connections with her nieces and nephews: Deven Osment, Dallas Taylor, Emma Taylor, Jasmine and Sean Miller, Hunter and Aiden Shelton, Brett and Leigh Atwell, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Vickie and Tony Atwell, Phyllis and Jerry Stowers, and many more. A loving granddaughter to Mary and Jack Stowers and June Simons. She was preceded in death by her cherished grandparents: William and Delores Atwell, and Peggy Simons and mother-in-law Juanita Davis.

Kristi worked as a dedicated purchasing agent for 17 years, and always displayed the strongest work ethic in anything and everything she did. But her truest calling was found in caring for others. She lived with open arms and an open heart, never hesitating to help anyone in need-whether it was a person, a stray animal, or a soul simply needing kindness.

Known for her love of butterflies, Jeeps, and being a mother to all, Kristi made an unforgettable mark on everyone she met. She was a talented cook, a fierce protector, and a tireless nurturer. It was always "Kristi and her girls" —a bond unbreakable and unmatched.

Kristi's faith in God anchored her life. She was a proud Christian who lived out her beliefs through love, service, and unwavering generosity.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the purple flowers she adored, the butterflies that flutter by, and in the hearts of her family and friends.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue." — Proverbs 31:25-26

Friends will be received  on July 15, 2025 from 4-4:45 p.m. with service to follow at 5 p.m. at West Lincoln Baptist Church, 1355 Reepsville Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.
