LC Commissioners & Planning Board Joint Meeting/Public Hearing Feb. 3

Will be held at the Lincoln County Administration Building, 353 N. Generals Blvd., Lincolnton, N.C.

LINCOLNTON, N.C. -  The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and Planning Board will hold a joint meeting and public hearings on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the following matters:

ZMA #740 QuikTrip Corporation, applicant (Parcel ID# 02472) A request to rezone a 1.42-acre portion of a parcel from B-N (Neighborhood Business) to B-G (General Business). The property is located on the north side of Unity Church Road and the east side of N.C. 16 Business in Catawba Springs Township.

ZMA #744 Hills Chapel Methodist Church, applicant (Parcel ID# 02873, 57954, and 70072) A request to rezone 13.8 acres from R-T (Transitional Residential) to B-G (General Business). The property is located at 988 S. N.C. 16 Business Hwy. in Catawba Springs Township.

ZMA #745 BVJ&J Investments, LLC, applicant (Parcel ID# 34654) A request to rezone 2.269 acres from R-SF (Residential Single Family) to B-G (General Business). The property is located at 1781 S. N.C. 16 Business Hwy. in Catawba Springs Township.

Following the joint meeting, the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings to consider the following matters:

SUP #508 Butternut Investments, LLC, applicant (Parcel ID# 33243 and 74369) A request for a special use permit for a contractor’s office, a contractor’s yard, and vehicle sales in the Eastern Lincoln Development District (ELDD) overlay. The 5.8-acre site is located on the east side of N.C. 16 Business about 1600 feet north of Webbs Road in Catawba Springs Township.

SUP #517 QuikTrip Corporation, applicant (Parcel ID# 02472, 02475, and 57407) A request for a special use permit for a gas station with convenience retail in the Eastern Lincoln Development District (ELDD) overlay. The proposed 2.76-acre site is located on the northeast corner of N.C. 16 Business and Unity Church Road in Catawba Springs Township.

SUP #521 Hills Chapel Methodist Church, applicant (Parcel ID# 02873, 57954, and 70072) A request for a special use permit for a medical spa in the Eastern Lincoln Development District (ELDD) overlay. The proposed 13.8-acre site is located at 988 S. N.C. 16 Business Hwy. in Catawba Springs Township.

JBDK Family Limited Partnership withdrew applications for the following:

ZMA #742 - A request to rezone 16.29 acres from B-G (General Business) to I-L (Industrial Light). The property is located at 2585 N. N.C. 16 Business Hwy. in Catawba Springs Township.

SUP #518 - A request for a special use permit to expand a self-storage facility in the Eastern Lincoln Development District (ELDD) overlay. The 16.29-acre parcel is located at 2585 N. N.C. 16 Business Hwy. in Catawba Springs Township.
