Local Businessman Sentenced To Prison On Secret Peeping Charges
Sentenced to 31 to 107 months
LINCOLNTON, N.C. – A Lincoln County man, Patrick Junior Ravens, 64, the owner of 321 Lawnmower Sales and Services in Maiden was sentenced by a Lincoln County Jury on August 22, 2024, on felony secret peeping, second degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to evidence presented at trial, the defendant had repeatedly placed hidden spy cameras in a bathroom inside a residence for the purpose of capturing revealing images of a 13-year-old female relative in his care. He therefore made multiple copies of the video footage for his own personal use.
Patrick Junior Havens was sentenced to 31 to 107 months in the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections, and he must also register as a sex offender for 30 years.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident which was reported on March 26, 2023. Services were provided through the Lincoln County Child Advocacy Center as part of the Lincoln County Multi-Disciplinary Team. The District Attorney’s Office of Lincoln and Cleveland Counties prosecuted the case.
