LINCOLNTON - The Delta Sigma Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) International Society recently held their summer planning meeting. This meeting brought together dedicated women educators from the local community.
During the meeting members held the swearing in of their new officers. Outgoing president Rhonda Hager conducted the ceremony, acknowledging the contributions of the past year and setting a positive tone for the future.
The new officers are: Elaine Boysworth, President; Jennifer Huskey, 1st Vice President; Abbey Bumgarner, 2nd Vice President; Sheila Wright, Secretary; and Lori Haight, Treasurer.
In recognition of her exceptional leadership as president, Rhonda Hager was presented with a $1,000 donation to the Delta Sigma Scholarship Fund in her name.
The Delta Sigma Chapter continues to demonstrate its commitment to education, professional development, and community engagement through insightful meetings and impactful initiatives.
