DENVER, N.C. - The local community is invited to the Love Denver Back to School event at East Lincoln High School, 6471 NC-73, Denver, NC 28037 on August 3, 2024 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This heartwarming event aims to support families as they prepare for the new school year while spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pre-registration is not required, giveaways are first-come, first-serve.

Love Denver is a completely free back-to-school event sponsored by local churches. Our mission is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this by providing free backpacks filled with school supplies, free kids’ haircuts, free lunch, sports physicals, medical screenings, prayer and faith resources, and so much more!

·         Fun and Games: Come enjoy kids activities like crafts, bouncy houses, cotton candy, face painting, and more!

·         Free Backpacks: Ensure your child is prepared with essential school supplies.

·         Haircuts: Get a fresh new look before the school year begins.

·         Vision and Dental Screenings: Professional health screenings to help kids stay healthy.

·         Sports Physicals: Necessary physicals for students participating in school sports.

·         Clothing: Access to free clothing items to help children and adults feel confident and comfortable.

·         Food: Enjoy delicious and nutritious meals during the event and take home a free bag of food when you leave.

"Love Denver is all about bringing our community together and making sure every child is ready for the school year," said Gabriel Ives, the Event Coordinator. "We want to provide practical support and show the love of Jesus Christ in a tangible way."

Local churches have come together to organize and sponsor this event, reflecting their commitment to loving and serving the Denver community.
