Mary Lou Arrowood King
July 23, 1949—January 27, 2026
LINCOLNTON, N.C.—Mary Lou Arrowood King, age 76, of Laboratory Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Mary Lou was born July 23, 1949, in Lincoln County, to the late Luther Clay Arrowood and Gladys Duncan Arrowood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas S. King, and a brother Jerry Arrowood. She worked in the trucking industry.
She is survived by a son, Anthony Brian Cochrane (Priya) of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Tara Cochrane of Chicago, Illinois, and Zoe Cochrane of Texas; and four brothers, Calvin Arrowood (Shirley) of Cramerton, Alvin Arrowood (Judy) of Hillsborough, William “Bill” Arrowood of Lincolnton, and Clyde Arrowood (Kim) of Lincolnton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Scoggins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
