MayBelle Hodge Morgan
April 25, 1935 – September 12, 2024
NEWTON, N.C. - MayBelle Hodge Morgan, age 89 of Newton passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Trinity Ridge in Hickory.
Born April 25, 1935 in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Henry and Ethel Cody Hodge. In addition to her parents, her husband, William Claude Morgan and her brother, Leonard Hodge preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Roger Lee Frasure of Conover; three daughters Karen Church of Hickory, Debra Sales of Colorado, Rebecca Ervin of Morganton; siblings Tommy, Arvil, “Dude”, Sue, Marilyn, Marlene, Evie and Carolyn; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church in Maiden with Rev. Bud Painter officiating.
Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-1:45 p.m. at the church.
