CONOVER, N.C. - Melody Love Campbell, 61, of Conover, passed away on August 3, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

She was born April 22, 1963 to the late Vincent George Campbell and Sylvia Gaye Whitner Reedling. Melody was of the Christian faith and worked as a manager at Market Basket in Conover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Media Sipe; and a brother, Jerry Whitner.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son Christopher David Witt of Lincolnton; daughters Eva Anderson and husband Christopher Mauldin of Conover, Lacey Witt of Conover; sisters Joni Laney and husband Mickey of Connelly Springs, Carol Sampaia and husband Gil of Goodyear, Ariz., Gail Whitner of North Carolina; grandchildren Jamie Aaron Cash Jr., Chloe Love Cash, Jonah Andrew Cash, Cadence Rose Mauldin, Urijah David Norris-Witt, and Amelia Norris-Witt.

A service to celebrate Melody’s life was held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton. Rev. Tommy Young officiated. The family received friends prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service.
