Michael Stuart Gordon Jr.
December 28, 1943 – September 7, 2024
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Michael Stuart Gordon Jr., age 80, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at his residence.
He was born December 28, 1943, in Montgomery, Tennessee to the late Michael Stuart Gordon Sr. and Katherine Haller Gordon. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and former manager with the US Postal Service in Charlotte. He graduated from UNC Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. He enjoyed reading, computers, and crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed photography and loved writing stories.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Adriana Woody Gordon.
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria “Tori” Catherine Gordon; sister, Patricia Gordon Rath; sister, Amanda Gordon and husband Michael Lathan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. William and Dorothy Woody; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A private inurnment will be held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Charlotte.
