Michael Wayne McNeely
November 24, 1978 - November 15, 2025
LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Michael Wayne McNeely, age 46, of Lincolnton, went on to his eternal home with Jesus on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Michael was born November 24, 1978, in Catawba County. He served his community for a very long time as a first responder.
He has volunteered at the North Brook Volunteer Fire Department, as well as for Cleveland County EMS. Michael was an employee of Lincoln County since 2000. He was the assistant director of Lincoln County E911 most recently, but he also served as a sergeant in the Lincoln County Detention Center.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Marie McNeely of the home; son, Jeremiah Boyles of the home; father and mother-in-law, Don and Lori Pennington; sister-in-law, Brittney Henderson (Joseph); his niece, Hollis; and very close friends that have become family.
Services are private.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, donations may be made to his family at 1835 Appalachian Court, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
