LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Naomi Biggerstaff Seagle, age 85, of Hilltop Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church in Lincolnton with Pastor David Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. 

Naomi was born February 6, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late Augusta and Pauline Lineberger Biggerstaff.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Blanchard.  She was a loving mom and ma-maw.  She enjoyed having fun, going places, church, and telling everyone about the Lord.  She loved to yodel.  She was a member of Calvary where she loved teaching in the children’s department for over 50 years, and also singing in the choir.  She sung with the Golden Voices and loved praising Jesus in song.  She will be missed by many, but she is whole again and with our Lord.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Rickman (Tony) of Lincolnton, and Bobbie Thomas (Rick) of Crouse; son, Ronny Seagle (Anna) of Crouse; grandchildren, Krystal (Brian) Capps, Misty Ayers, Carla Adams, Jessica Smith (Heath), April Griggs, and Andy Rickman; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Madison, Hunter, Addisyn, Ryleigh, Anastasia, Jacob, J.J., Preston, Destiny, Josh, Katlyn, and Lauren; great-great-grandchildren, Malikai, Aiden, Cameron, Kayleigh, Carter, and Kinsley; three sisters, Sandy Smith (Thurman), Linda Blackburn, and Barbara Weaver; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Peak Resources in Cherryville for their wonderful care of Naomi.
