Nora Anne Carpenter Lineberger
Nora Anne Carpenter Lineberger, age 90, of Carpenter Drive in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Landers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Amy Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Lineberger was born September 22, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late Clefford and Mary Ellen Kiser Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Reeves Lineberger; granddaughter, Keri Ellen Carpenter; two brothers; and son, Andrew Lineberger. She was a retired floral arranger.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Corriher (Bill) of Boone, and Patricia Carpenter Hass (Calvin) of Bessemer City; brother, James Carpenter of Mississippi; grandchildren, Erin Adams, Amy Corriher, and Daniel Corriher; great-grandchildren, Blaise Shiver, Ella Grace Adams, River Adams, and Jackson Corriher; nephew and nieces, Scott, Judy, and Jerri.
Memorials may be made to Landers Chapel United Methodist Church, 1205 Long Shoals Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
