Norman Dean High
February 18, 1940 - July 23, 2024
LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Norman Dean High, age 84, of Lincolnton, and formerly of High Shoals, died on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at First Baptist Church of High Shoals with Rev. Mike Scott officiating. Burial will follow in High Shoals Memorial Gardens. The family will be available prior to the service to greet friends.
Norman was born February 18, 1940, in Gaston County, to the late Carl Norman High and Eula Mae Poteat High. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Fore High; son, Derrick High; and brothers, L.H. High, A.G. High, and Marvin High. He worked for Merita Bread as a salesman.
He is survived by a daughter, Piper High of Newton; son, Curtis High of Southern Pines; and brother, Donald High of Gastonia.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the High family.
