Odis Charlie Schronce
November 8, 1939 – October 5, 2024
CLAREMONT, N.C. - Odis Charlie Schronce, 84, of Claremont passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Catawba Valley Living at Rock Barn.
He was born November 8, 1939 in Catawba County to the late Kelley Odis Schronce and Eliza Minnie Helms Schronce. Odis was of the Baptist faith and retired from the furniture industry. He enjoyed trading, working on mowers, going to yard sales and flea markets. Odis was an avid animal lover, especially horses and dogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Hellen Willis Schronce, and wife Zella Shufford; daughter, Glenda Prather; granddaughter, April Schronce; and his sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Larry Charles Schronce and wife Kathy of Maiden, Jeff Schronce and wife Christy of Maiden; brother Randy Scronce and wife Connie of Hickory; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Odis’s life will be held at a later date.
