Oleen Payne Randall
July 12, 1935 — November 1, 2026
CHERRYVILLE, N,C,—Oleen Payne Randall, age 91, of Cherryville, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at her home.
She was born July 12, 1935, in Caldwell County, to the late George and Victoria Payne.
Oleen was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family more than anything. She was extremely creative and enjoyed sewing, coloring, crosswords, and dot to dots. Oleen liked music and had an extensive record collection. She adored her furbabies, including Tiny and Lady, and her current baby, Coco. Oleen was a firecracker and she was always ready to get out and go.
In addition to her parents, Oleen was preceded in death by her husband, Bergan Harrison Randall; son, David Randall; special friend, Alan Watson; her siblings; two grandsons; a granddaughter; and a daughter-in-law.
Survivors include her children, Tony Randall (Kathey), Kenny Randall (Sherry), and Doug Randall (Jo); daughter-in-law, Mary Randall; special friends, Alice Clark, Cindy Lee (Jimmy), and Rena Hobbs; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Fain officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.
