Patty Ann Newton
April 19, 1958 - July 20, 2024
DUFFIELD, Va. - Patty Ann Newton, age 66, of Cecil D. Quillen Drive in Duffield, VA, died on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will speak to friends following the service.
Patty was born April 19, 1958, in Lee County, Virginia, to the late Bascome and Inez Wilson Harless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Newton; brother Arville Harless; sisters Cora Murray, Alfa Harless, and Bertha Helton. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by sons, Jody Newton of Duffield, Va., and Adam Newton (Johnna) of Lincolnton; brothers, T.J. Harless (Judy) and Gary Harless (Lula), all of Stickleyville, Va.; sister, Rita Bartman (Tim) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Tate Newton and Mason Newton, both of Dallas, and Will Weston of Lincolnton; and special friend, Christopher Craig and children.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Newton family.
