CONOVER, N.C. - Paul Christopher “Chris” Phillips, 49, of Conover, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his residence.

He was born March 28, 1975 in Caldwell County to the late Paul Herman Phillips and Betty Jean Smith Phillips. Chris was a member of Christ Church-Northside in Hickory and employed as a graphic artist. He enjoyed listening to music, playing the drums with the worship team and various local bands, and working on his trucks.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of eight years but together for 14, Charity Fox Phillips of the home; son Jacob Potter of the home; and daughter Karale Potter of the home.

A service to celebrate Chris’ life will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Christ Church-Northside in Hickory. Pastor Mike Faircloth will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Christ Church-Northside. The family asks that you wear your favorite band t-shirt.
