Police are currently on the scene at Peoples Bank in Lincolnton following reports of an incident. Witnesses have suggested the situation may involve a possible bank robbery but at this time no official details have been confirmed by authorities.

Law enforcement vehicles were seen surrounding the building late Thursday afternoon. Officers have not released any statements and it remains unclear whether there are any injuries or suspects in custody.
