LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Rene’ Warlick Harkey, age 71, of Calvary Church Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Yount officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. 

Rene’ was born October 14, 1952, in Lincoln County, to the late John “Mutt” Warlick and Mildred Bibbie Duncan Warlick.  She worked for Trendline/Cochrane Furniture Company for 38 years.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Harkey of the home; sons, Jamie Harkey (Kim) of Lincolnton, and Jody Harkey (Cindy) of Denver; sister, Myra Story (Don) of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Lawson and Mallary Harkey and Madison and Carson Ballenger; two aunts, Catherine Binkley of Georgia, and Vickie Duncan of Cherryville; and numerous cousins.
